What's up with the bottom right corner? Ran outta paint? Sorry that's mean of me...
I find it funny how when I look at something surreal I try to find humanistic features I can relate to. I looked at this and tried to figure out where the teeth, eyes, nose, arms and legs are. It's really cool how you've used mechanical and electrical (those are wires for 'hair', no?) objects and replaced features that people relate to... like a reminder that this isn't human or it isn't going to show mercy. (It's also clever how the chest looks biological... so it's a cyborg or android... I can't remember the difference)
It looks unsympathetic, I really do think it wants to clobber someone over the head. The way it's head is drawn down and it's back is hunched gives it a slight sense of sadness... or perhaps tragedy.
I think it's fabulous how it looks so 2d even with all that shading. Of course your trademark harshly textured background plays into it nicely. The colour usage here is amusing... from the background I get the impression there is a yellow light but the light bits on the creature are redish in hue.
Nicely done, as always.

We want to know what love means to you!
Get your creative juices flowing and design a movie poster for "Paper Heart" that focuses on the theme "What Does Love Mean to Me?".
This is a collection of deviations showing real Pinups in the classic Retro poses from various Artists. For the 4rd time I present a variation of Vintage Pinup Queens as well as fresh modern Pinup art. If you love Polkadots, seamed Nylons, Plateau-Heels and and Miles-long-legs you should not miss this collection.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
